Long ago, in eras and worlds apart from one another, three great men built three great kingdoms.
The first was ruled by a man who ignored all warnings in hopes of bringing happyness to his people.
The second was ruled by a man who's fear of the dark drove him to a fate of pain and fire.
The third was ruled by a man who was feared death, and left his people to suffer after realizing his mistake.
In times of great trial and great crises, heros rise in hopes of bringing change. The question is, what are they really fighting for? The people who help them, are they truly trying to help them? How can we know, how can we truly know?
Can you imagine a conversation between these three?
Champion undead: I defeated an evil king and dedicated my eternal existence to safeguarding reality itself...with my immortal pancake faced bondage wearing Waifu. (>.3.<) !
Undead Hero: I defeated an evil queen and took her place as the ruler of an entire kingdom...with my fetish nun wearing soul manipulating Waifu! (>3<) !
Chosen Undead: I defeated an insane crumbled benevolent god that went insane in an effort to save the world. I am now a burning corse in constant agony and my Waifu is a dying spider lady thats probably dead by now because i killed her sister and her knight who were keeping her alive with humanity. (T___T)
Champion & Hero: 0__0 .
Champion & Hero: At least we all died a lot though right? So.. GG?
I agree... see every knight in this picture went through equally difficult trials. Each earning and becoming near godlike entities as they suffer and fail.
But both the Champion and the Cursed(Hero) have had companions of sorts. They both had their maidens and ladies who will be by their side through thick and thin.
The Chosen had none of that, he went though his quest alone, and isolated probably slowly going insane as time went by. All his would be friends died before he even got to know them or just as they were opening up to him. Man, that guy had it bad didn't even get a worthwhile reward when his quest was over..
